Apologies if this is a common question.  We're newly expecting our first but both came from families with lots and lots of young nieces and nephews.  Which means lots of potential hand-me-downs. Score!  My question is, what exactly should we absolutely buy brand new?  I mean other than disposable stuff. :-)

1.  Do any of you know any shops online that do really cute custom personalized stuff (blankets, bedroom signs, pillows, what have you) for babies/kids?

2.  Also, what are some of people's favorite Etsy shops that may sell stuff for baby boys?
